About Us

At Wildfire Research Group, we serve as a collaborative hub where wildfire management professionals unite to shape a brighter future for the wildland fire community. Recognizing the multitude of agencies, organizations, and firms dedicated to similar objectives, we embrace a spirit of solidarity, acknowledging the vital roles each entity plays in our collective mission. Our commitment extends beyond our own initiatives; we actively support and uplift others in their endeavors, while seizing opportunities to lead and contribute meaningfully to the wildfire community whenever possible. Anchored by an esteemed advisory board and valued partners boasting extensive experience across diverse facets of fire suppression delivery and support, we foster a rich tapestry of perspectives to inform our collaborative efforts.

We are organized as a 501(c)(6) business league. We draw our strength from our corporate and individual members; those who want their voice to be heard when it is difficult to find a place to speak.
